As part of its technical support to the Committee on Ukraine’s Integration into the EU, the Euro-Atlantic Course analyzed 13 draft laws for compliance with Ukraine’s European integration commitments and EU law.
In January 2025, the organization’s experts reviewed, in particular, the following draft laws: on improving the legal regulation of the High Council of Justice; on eliminating the shortcomings of regulating plea bargaining and expanding the range of subjects of criminal liability for illicit enrichment; on assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of tax authorities; on assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of customs authorities; on exempting components of unmanned systems from import duty,
The Euro-Atlantic Course NGO has been providing information and expert support to the Committee on Ukraine’s Integration into the EU for over three years. During this time, the project’s experts have analyzed more than 200 draft laws. Their analysis is important in ensuring that Ukrainian legislation complies with EU law.
The fourth project, “Ensuring Ukraine’s European Integration Course by Increasing the Volume of Expert and Information Support to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Ukraine’s Integration into the EU,” was launched in December 2024. The project is implemented with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
